SUSTAINABILITY IN BUSSINESS

We are committed to conducting business management that allows us to carry out our activities within a framework of sustainable development and compliance with current legal regulations, according to the following objectives:

We conserve natural ecosystems by prohibiting hunting within the farm and the possession of wild animals in captivity, implementing reforestation plans to diversify native species and prohibiting the felling of trees and collecting endangered species.
We properly dispose of the effluents we generate, which are not discharged into aquatic ecosystems or used in any activity within the estate. Additionally, we implement soil conservation and improvement plans to prevent erosion.
We properly manage and dispose of waste through segregation and authorized channels, with a culture of waste minimization and reuse.
We control and reduce energy use through preventive and corrective maintenance of agricultural machinery and efficient control of the irrigation system. We implement the use of solar panels to take advantage of solar energy in our activities.
Our company controls and reduces water use through irrigation methods that minimize waste of this resource and distribute it directly to each plant. We maintain an optimal infrastructure for the automated irrigation system and analyze meteorological information and specialized equipment to guarantee efficiency in the flow of water used.
The company assumes a policy of continuous improvement that includes the periodic review of the goals assumed in the plans, also through training and raising awareness of personnel in caring for the environment.
At Swiss Crops, we embrace Integrated Pest Management (IPM) that goes beyond simple pesticide reduction. We actively seek to prevent the proliferation of pests and diseases in our fields. In addition, we are committed to innovation with a prominent focus on BIOLOGICAL CONTROL. We have a laboratory dedicated to researching and developing sustainable alternatives, promoting the presence of natural predators to limit the use of chemical pesticides. At Swiss Crops, we are committed to agricultural practices that protect our crops and the environment.
